A thoroughly enjoyable experience, transporting me a thousand kilometres away, even though the minute I step outside the estate I will be re-reminded that I am surely in Nairobi. The accommodation is exceptionally cozy, giving you a real home away from home feel, with great attention to detail. The staff are exceptional and friendly and there is never a dull moment at The Woodmere.
Excellent Place to visit and have a chilled evening with the fam and friends. The owner is pleasant and the staff are polite to be around. Definitely will recommended it as and must visit place in Nairobi
Great rooms that feel unique and lived in unlike most of the hotels or short term stay places in the city. Having your own kitchen is so nice and the store is always open to buy water, eggs etc.. Pool and the hilarious old school gym make it all you need too
A hidden gem in the heart of the city. Hidden away in Kilimani, it's well located, the ambience is great, the service is incredible, everyone is friendly. Scenic & Private, Definite Must Stay! The furnishing and interior aesthetic takes you out of the city and puts you in the coast, the mountains, or the country side. Heated Pool was A1, Sauna was an Ace and the service was on point. Definitely recommend it for anyone, friends, family, couples, business or even a solo getaway.
Lived here for more than 6 months. It's really hard to say goodbye to this peaceful place. The nice staff and owner family, the clean and heated pool, the quite yard and those 2 cute dogs. Hope we will come back soon.
Woodmere is a lovely estate that I've stayed in numerous (over 10) times over the years. There are various uits: 1, 2 or 3 bedroom serviced apartments for short and long term stays. The location is great - close to the Yaya and other Malls as well as eateries and entertainment. This is great because they have no in-house catering beyond a convenience shop with limited items. Prepare to eat out or order in take away. Rooms are bright, spacious and airy. have a tendency to be quite cold in the Nairobi winter months (June-August).
